Jesus taught us to turn the other cheek.

We teach our children that, when wronged, they should not strike back.

However, it’s perfectly acceptable for our government to retaliate against a loosely-formed coalition of terrorists in order to defend “freedom”, while perpetuating the suffering of innocent Afghanis, many of them who are panicking and trying to get the hell out of the country, in addition to their daily job of “merely trying to survive”.

What’s next? Only time will tell, as I and many others fear that the US will suffer another terrorist strike of devastating proportions.
