Well, I’m glad that’s over with. Our tax preparer just left. All said, it was a fairly painless experience. Michelle and I have used the same tax preparer for two years now, and would highly recommend him to anyone. (Note to self: next year, don’t wait until the last minute.)
In other news, folks in Raleigh who don’t mind a free slice of Damn Good Apple Caramel CheesecakeTM with their dinner should go to the Lake Boone Shopping Center location of Bear Rock Café on Wednesday evenings. They have a promotion where they give out a free dessert with each purchase of a sandwich. Considering the cheesecake is normally $3.00 a slice, this is a good thing. Supposedly, this is for a limited time, so get yo’ self ova there right quick, now.
