Three CD purchases in a week. Someone stop me.

Tonight’s acquisition: the new DJ Shadow album, The Private Press. This album proves that Mr. Davis still has the skills. (Edit: nothing is more fun than buying an album and then realizing that you had already heard — and loved — a track on it.)

Now, for something quasi-serious.

I have been thinking of making a mix CD and sending it out to… well, whomever could stand it. It’s been a long time since I took the time to sequence some music, and I always have fun doing it. So, I’m thinking of putting something together. It’ll most likely be a collage of styles. There would probably be at least one track you’d like. If not, it makes a nice party favor. Or coaster.
