Bitch, moan, complain: Sprint PCS

I hate Sprint PCS.

Their customer support requires you to jump through n different hoops to actually talk to a real person. The worst is having to deal with Claire, a “virtual customer service representative”. So much for “personal service”.

Also:

  • Their coverage is terrible (lots of dead zones, dropped calls, etc.).
  • The Sprint PCS “stores” are a total joke (the ones around here won’t even answer their telephones).
  • Their website is impossible to use (can’t find anything you’re looking for, can’t send them e-mail).
  • Their phone selection is useless. Case in point: they got rid of the Kyocera 6035, which is an ass-kicking combination of a Palm Pilot and a digital phone. Why they got rid if it is beyond me, considering that Verizon Wireless still offers the phone for their service. I’m tempted to call up customer service and tell them that I am switching to Verizon because they offer the phone I want. But then I’ll have to pay $150 or something unreasonable to terminate my agreement, which I don’t ever remember signing, but supposedly I have. Plus, I’ll have to talk to Claire, and tell her to get bent, and then wait 30 minutes on hold for the next representative. Feh!

Obviously, Sprint has no respect for any of their customers as long as they keep paying their bills.
