What a freakishly odd little show this is. I caught both episodes 1 and 2 tonight, and I’m definately intrigued. My only complaint is that it is a bit to self-conciously edgy at times. Its immediate ancestor, Twin Peaks was more creepy with less effort. That gripe aside, it still looks to be a promising story (and one that is finite — only 13 episodes were made, and that’s it).
I like the (obvious) reference to Eliot — the main character’s name is J. (as in “Jim”) Prufrock.
Presumably, there is a game that goes along with that, but I really don’t care.
One last thing: it’s in a sucky time slot (up against Will and Grace on NBC and CSI on CBS. Those with TiVos with multiple tuners probably don’t care, though.
