Things I discovered today:

• The Belkin 4-Port Switch I own doesn’t seem to work properly with Windows XP with respect to mouse detection. XFree86 on my other computer picks up the mouse just fine. Grr. Argh.


• After being their neighbors for two years, I just found out that my neighbor’s wife works for Red Hat Software in their marketing department. She speaks geek pretty well, considering she’s a marketing person. She claims to enjoy using Linux on a day-to-day basis.


• I need a new job. NOW.
