Specifically, the commenting system is crap because the signal-to-noise ratio is nearly zero, with lots of naysayers throwing rocks at anything or just posting garbage because they have no lives whatsoever. The subject that that was getting “bashed” out of hand on Slashdot is the Jhai PC project, a project which hopes to bring 21st Century technology to the mainly agrarian Laotian society via bicycle-powered PCs with WiFi connections to the Internet.
