I’m fairly confident that you are not going to hear a better slice of pop music this year than Venus Hum’s Big Beautiful Sky. Should I ever get around to making the mix CD I keep promising everyone, Annette Strean’s lovely voice is going to be on it.

Incidentally, I bought my copy from the iTunes Music Store (PC users — just wait, it’s coming). Nothing beats getting up at 7:30 AM, realizing you want a new album’s worth of music, obtaining the files, and having a CD burned — legally! — all within 15 minutes.
