We are in week 14 (or is it 15?). What do you do to celebrate? Have another ultrasound!

This particular ultrasound was done as a part of UNC’s Right From the Start study of early pregnancy health, so we didn’t have to pay for it. While they were in there checking out various womanly body parts, they snapped the following picture of the baby:

Things to note:

• Our baby is a bit camera shy. This was the best picture they could get. We either got a picture of a seemingly headless torso, or strangely disembodied head, feet and hands. We went with the latter. I can assure you that I witnessed all body parts (spine, legs, arms, etc.) while watching the monitor.
• The baby moves around. A lot. I swear it was dancing around in there.
