One of the first things I wrote about on my nascent weblog back in 2001 was that Tori Amos was releasing a new album (Strange Little Girls). It turned out to be a lackluster effort (all cover songs), with some shining spots here and there.

Since then, she’s given us Scarlet’s Walk, which was quieter but much, much better.

Now, I’m writing to tell you that her next album, The Beekeeper will be out on 22 February. First single is called “Sleeps With Butterflies” and is to be released next Tuesday (10 January). More than likely, the iTunes Music Store will have it available, so save a buck.
