I was going to write a huge rant about AOL’s new idiotic Terms of Service for using AOL Instant Messenger (shorter version: “We own everything that passes through our servers and can do whatever we want with it, no matter what you say. Nyah, nyah.”), but Rafe says pretty much everything that I would have said, and probably better.

Unrelated: The last 1/3rd of “Galang” totally rocks my face. There, I said it. Yaa yah hey…

UPDATED: AOL says TOS not new (it’s a year old) and doesn’t apply to AIM messages, but forum posts. You may stop burning that little yellow AOL mascot in effigy now.
