“I just want you to know that I love my BushFish and have it boldly displayed on the back of my truck for all Floridians from the Gulf to the Atlantic to see!”
— from the Letters Dept. over at BushFish.org.
What’s wrong with this?
- Although the owners of BushFish.org say that they are not trying to assert Bush’s divinity by this bumper magnet, “Bush” is given larger significance (large, heavy, bloated font) than the fish design itself. Plus, when read, it says “One nation… BUSH …under God”. If that’s not what they intended, then their design stinks.
- Nothing says “I love God’s creation” more than choosing to driving a giant, gas-guzzling behemoth like the one pictured above.
- It’s a car magnet, meaning there will be no sticky residue left behind (no pun intended) when replaced by a FristFish in 2008.
- I love the orangish stripes behind the fish. What country is that flag from?
- It’s just darn ugly.
