Circuit Training. Day One.

Here we go.

My workout partner and I traced tomorrow’s weight training circuit. Mostly this was to familiarize myself with the locations of machines so I’m not wasting time hunting where to go next between exercises. The key to this training program is speed more than weight, turning a mostly anaerobic workout into an aerobic workout.

Once that was done, I found the LifeCycle, set the mode to “Hill Climb” with a starting level of 10 (of 20). During the course of the exercise, I got up to level 15, but eventually had to back down to 11 in order to not fall off the bike.

Afterwards, I felt like someone had taken a baseball bat to the back of my thighs. Mostly, I walked around thinking “HOLY CRAP, WHERE ARE MY LEGS?!”

Stats: 45 minutes, 403 cal (537 cal/hr), 16.2 mi.
