It’s nice to know that part of the funding for FEMA went into this slightly inept, but well-meaning website for children. As you might expect, there’s a lot to poke fun at, such as the breathless description of Brownie (“Mr. Brown always wanted to be a lawyer and did!”) and the official FEMA rap. Still, you have to give them credit for trying.
However, I have to wonder how many of the children who suffered in this disaster — many of whom were poor and had no access to the Internet except through their public school or library — actually saw this website. Did teachers or parents even know about its existence?
