Last week, the Washington Post run an article on why presentation software is evil, which is useful as a nice summary of the 2003 essay The Cognitive Style of PowerPoint by the estimable Edward Tufte.
I know from my wife’s reports that PowerPoint is being taught in middle school, under the guise that kids need to be versed in the technology that is being used in the workplace.
