My take after reading this: it must suck to be an old-school Republican right now, i.e. one that is more for fiscal restraint than worrying about what the neighbors might be doing in their bedroom. They must chafe at the fact that todays conservative is primarily about hatred tarted up as “values”. Truly sad.
