Yes, you looked at it on those grainy pictures on the Mac Rumors site and thought, “Wow, they are totally screwing it up, making what was all sleek and svelte all … fat.”
But then you took a trip to the Apple Store, held one in your hand, and recanted. They are skinnier than the “old” Nanos, and, although they have a new menuing interface that echos the iPhone and iPod Touch, are still a joy to use. Cover flow using the scroll wheel is a little dodgy compared to the iPhone and iPod Touch, but still quite usable.
And you get video, too.
For $149, it’s a steal.
